The Opening of Constantinople to Islam During the Osmanli Devlet

Introduction Sultan Mehemmed II or famously known as Sultan Fatih were one of the most important Caliph in the Osmanli Devlet. One of his greatest contributions towards the spread of Islam is the opening of Constantinople to Islam. The city which is the capital of the Byzantine Empire for centuries, finally fall to Islam and mark the end of one of the oldest empire in human civilization. It is a very important city and its opening to Islam were mentioned in the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) which clearly mentioned that the city of Constantinople will one day fall to Islam and will be open by a nice army lead by a nice commander. The commander mentioned in the Hadith is certainly Sultan Fatih who command the opening of Constantinople to Islam. Salam, sekadar renungan. Unisel Dapat NC Baru Posted on May 15, 2008 by Ibnu Khuzaimah Khabar angin bertiup kencang Naib Canselor Universiti Industri Selangor, Prof. Datuk Razali Agus(gambar) akan menamatkan perkhidmatannya sebagai Naib Canselor UNISEL kerana kontrak perkhidmatannya tidak dilanjutkan lagi oleh Kerajaan Negeri Selangor. Unisel adalah Universiti Swasta milik Kerajaan Negeri Selangor dengan kampus utama di Berjuntai Bistari dan Shah Alam. Unisel mempunyai jumlah pelajar melebihi 10,000 orang dalam setiap sesi pengajian. Menurut sumber-sumber yang boleh dipercayai, seorang anak Selangor berkelulusan dari Universiti Harvard dan berpengalaman lama di luar negara akan memimpin Unisel ke arah yang lebih gemilang. Selain itu beberapa tokoh akademia dari beberapa universiti tempatan diberitakan akan memulakan khidmat di Unisel menjelang sesi pengajian akan datang.

Nukilan Terbuka Buat UMNO Selangor

Salam ... Beberapa hari lagi, akan genap 60 hari Pakatan Rakyat mentadbir Selangor. Dalam keadaan politik yang masih dalam kekalutan sejak tsunami 8 mac tempoh hari, satu jalan penyelesaian perlu dicari. Cukup sudah mencari salah .... Selangor umpamanya langsung tidak mencerminkan sebuah negeri maju, yang matang berpolitik... saban hari menyaksikan BN dan PR bergilir-gilir menghiasi muka depan dada-dada akhbar terutam di Sinar Harian. Jika hari Isnin menyaksikan Tan Sri Khalid mencadangkan sesuatu, maka hari Selasa pihak BN akan memberi tindakbalas. Jika tidak mantan MB, akan muncul pula Pengerusi BN Selangor yang juga mantan MB . Saban minggu perkara ini berlaku .... belum pun mencapai 100 hari,pelbagai respon, kritikan dan cadangan ...pelbagai isu dibangkitkan ... dari isu air percuma ke khinzir @babi ... belum pun selesai isu BALKIS, muncul pula isu penurunan cukai pintu .. di peringkat lokal pula , isu JKKK dan siapa yang menguasai masjid kerap ke udara ... itu belum isu Selan...

Introduction Abu Hamid Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn. Muhammad al Tusi al-Ghazali , b. 450H/1058M , d. Dec. 18, 1111M/505H ; was an outstanding jurist, theologian and sufi. Al-Ghazali was born in Tus, near the modern town of Mashhad in Khurasan (in present-day Iran). He is one of the most revered personalities in the Muslim world and contributed greatly not only in the three fields but also in the development of Islah and Tajdid movement as well. In his spiritual autobiography , al-Munqidh min al-Dalal (The Deliver from Error), he describes the great crisis that forced him in 1095 to abandon his career in Baghdad and to search for an inner , direct knowledge of the reality of God. He visited Damascus, Jerusalem and Makkah and lived with some disciples in his birthplace , Tus , before he was persuaded to return (1106) to his teaching career. He retired to Tus in 1110.
